Our Courses

We strive to enhance the health and safety of our communities by providing relevant First Aid training that meets the needs of our clients. We hold our courses in a relaxed, friendly environment. They are taught by professional instructors in a fun and interesting manner using quality materials relevant to New Zealanders. We focus our teaching on real life scenarios to help attendees develop the skills and confidence to respond in an emergency situation as well as to anticipate and prevent accidents from occurring. Upon completion you will be issued a certificate. 

MediTrain is a registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) providing First Aid Training nationwide.  Our MediTrain First Aid Courses are recognised by OSH as a Workplace First Aid Course and are accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and the Ministry of Education.

Tailored First Aid Course
We are happy to make courses relevant to your needs while still meeting assessment criteria.

Comprehensive Workplace First Aid Course
This OSH recognised course will equip you with the skills and confidence to deal with emergencies at home or at work. It covers unit standards 6400, 6401, 6402.

Childcare First Aid Course
This OSH recognised workplace course has a strong focus on childcare.  It is ideal for parents and early childhood educators.  It covers unit standards 6400, 6401, 6402.

Workplace Recertification First Aid Course
This course refreshes your First Aid knowledge and is required in order to keep your certification current.  To be eligible your current First Aid certificate must be no older than 2 years and 3 months.

Basic Life Support (CPR) Course
This course teaches you the skills to care for patients who have stopped breathing.  It covers unit standard 6402.

Basic First Aid Course
This course teaches basic First Aid skills.  It covers unit standards 6401 and 6402.
